In the past five seasons, the title went four times to Amsterdam and once to Eindhoven. This year, too, the championship celebration will be in one of these cities. Will Ajax take it back on behalf of Amsterdam or will it stay down south with PSV?

List leaders
Ajax is having a strong season in the Eredivisie. Amsterdam's number two on the league table has barely lost any points, making them a formidable rival to PSV. PSV and Ajax are therefore the only two teams that have led the league table this season. Ajax led the Eredivisie for the first 20 rounds of play. Then PSV took over and Cocu's team now leads the standings for seven rounds of play.

Arek Milik
Striker Arek Milik is currently in the best phase of his season. The Pole stands at 15 goals in 24 premier league matches. He scored seven of them in this calendar year. Milik, born in Tychy, Poland, made his debut in the highest division in his homeland for Górnik Zabrze. Halfway through his second season, in which Milik managed to score seven times in 14 duels, a move to German Bayer Leverkusen followed. A real breakthrough failed to materialize there, and in the summer of 2013 he was loaned to FC Augsburg for one season. A year later, another loan spell at Ajax followed. Milik impressed at Ajax and in April of last season he signed a four-year contract there.
