Philips
This week, of course, much was made of the PSV Heritage Kit, the last PSV shirt with Philips on the chest. On Aug. 21, 1982, PSV played in the Eredivisie for the first time with Philips on the chest. Opponent at the time happened to be Willem II. PSV won 2-0 thanks to goals by Jurrie Koolhof and Hallvar Thoresen. Incidentally, PSV also recorded the very first victory over Willem II since the introduction of the Eredivisie. On October 7, 1956, the game against the Tilburgers in Eindhoven ended 3-1.
