Head coach Mark van Bommel is already looking forward to PSV's next match. Less than 72 hours after PSV reached the group stage of the Europa League via Apollon Limassol, his team is already playing RKC Waalwijk. The last match before the international break. 'We want to finish the first series well.'

Pace
"We are in a period in which the matches follow in rapid succession," Van Bommel said. "Friday we travel, Saturday a training session and Sunday night we play again in Waalwijk. As a football player, I thought that was the best thing there is, playing a lot."

Wide
A broad selection is necessary for this, however, the PSV head coach believes. "As a coach, of course you have to guard the load. Many players do not yet know this rhythm. That's why I'm glad we have a broad selection."

Idea
With RKC Waalwijk, PSV will meet the bottom of the Eredivisie on Sunday. Yet, according to Van Bommel, it is certainly not a team to be underestimated. "RKC is back in the Eredivisie and has shown very nice football in the first matches. There is a clear idea behind it," said Van Bommel, who cannot reveal too much about his selection. After training I will have more insight into which players are available, but we will go for the win anyway. We want to finish the first series of games well."
