After the final match of the season, Phillip Cocu took the opportunity to congratulate Feyenoord on the national championship. "They richly deserved it," said Cocu, who saw PSV themselves win 4-1 against PEC Zwolle on Sunday.
"I think in the first half we played at too low a tempo," the head coach began his analysis of PSV - PEC Zwolle. "In the second half, with some changes we made sure there was a bit more movement in the team. As a result, we created many more possibilities and chances than before halftime. In the end it turned out to be a nice result with some good goals. Now we are going to work towards next season."
At the press conference, Cocu went on to say that he would have liked to let some more talents get minutes, but that the course of the match prevented him from doing so. "I would have really liked to let one or two talents make their debut, but I also want to win. PSV is not a playground. There are some young guys coming, we're going to see that this summer."
