Hundred duels for the captain
A great milestone awaits Jerdy Schouten next Sunday: he can play his 100th official game for PSV in a special affair. The midfielder, who played mainly as a central defender this season, made his debut in the Eredivisie against Vitesse (1-3 win) on Aug. 19, 2023. On Nov. 4, 2023, he scored his first goal for PSV against Heracles Almelo (0-6). Since this season, Schouten has been captain of the team and now has seven goals and four assists to his name.
Changes at Feyenoord
Feyenoord had some changes in the selection in the last transfer period. Quinten Timber left the club after 125 games, 21 goals and 17 assists. In contrast, Mats Deijl is the newest addition. The 28-year-old right back came over from Go Ahead Eagles, where he played 178 official games, scoring 13 goals and providing as many assists.
