Today the last opponent in the first round from the pool, this time out against UNA F1.
We start with 8 players against UNA F1, where after changing clothes, a patch for Harm and warming up we are ready to start at 09.15 on the main field of UNA.
The first part of the match was fun to watch, PSV had the ball a lot and had plenty of chances for goals. UNA did well and dared to play football, and picked off a lot of balls. After about 9 minutes the first goal of this half fell. The goal was very nice because of the action of several players and the playing together beforehand... and we got to 0-1.
The second part of the 1st half we continued to play pretty well but the field of play got smaller and smaller. This was quite difficult, through Rik we still went to rest with 0-3.
At halftime we drank some water and talked briefly about how the 1st half went. And agreed to make more actions where possible (especially with space) and to show courage to play football. Just after halftime we made 0-4 and within a minute 1-4 and 1-5. At the opposite goal we were attacking with many players and Una could easily score. After that we got a lot of chances to score goals, and we made quite a lot of them. What was nice to see was the joy of the boys at the goals. Maybe because they played well and we could also practice a lot of actions. At the end the result was 2-13.
On to St. Nicholas and next week F2 has to play a game for the competition, then the boys have to play against Nuenen F1.
