    Tough draw O16

Not for the first time this league, PSV and ADO Den Haag met. PSV has traditionally struggled against this opponent and only a few weeks ago they had to suffer a defeat in The Hague. At De Herdgang, the team again made things difficult for the O16 and managed to force a draw.

Although PSV knew how to fight the guests after all their previous games together, the first half did not lead to an exciting spectacle with beautifully played goals. No goals were scored by either team in the first half, and the only thing to enjoy was the sunshine over the Herdgang.

The second half, especially in the closing stages, saw a somewhat more open picture of play. PSV started strongly after the break, at least it seemed that way at first. After a few minutes of play, a corner by Naïm from the right landed at the feet of Jaivy, who drove the ball decisively into the net. However, the referee disallowed the goal due to offside. Having barely recovered from the disappointment, PSV had to deal with another setback. Just minutes after the disallowed goal, left back Nawaaz went on an adventure but lost the ball around the halfway line and ADO quickly converted. The right-wing striker dived into the hole behind the PSV player and laid the ball wide to the number nine, who got in front of goalkeeper Kjell and could pick out the corner: 0-1. With that score, the trainers brought on an extra striker for a defender with half an hour left on the clock. And substitute Mo was eventually the basis for the equalizer that PSV managed to score ten minutes before the end. Mo brought the ball into the penalty area from the right side, which was headed through by Jasper and was taken by the free-standing Naïm and shot directly into the left cross: 1-1.

Congratulations to head coach Adil, who on Saturday took exam match coaching for the UEFA A trainer training program, and passed!
