  1. Match report

    Location: Mitsubishi Forklift Stadium
In the away match against Almere City, PSV did not get beyond a disappointing draw (1-1).
In the 1st half, PSV started the match very well with fast combination play and nice individual actions.
4 open chances are created which unfortunately are not finished. Then follows a fine shot by Wouter Verstraaten on the crossbar.
While PSV continues to play well and everyone is waiting for a goal, it is the opponent who easily shoots in after an individual mistake.
Unbelievable but the halftime score is 1-0 for Almere.

In the 2nd half again the same picture with an attacking PSV.
They play very easily until the end of the attack, once close to the 16m our players are very sloppy in the final pass and in finishing chances.
In the 57th minute it is Suently Alberto who, after a fine set-up, runs through and shoots the ball well inside. With more than 20 minutes to play, it is 1-1.
PSV goes at a high pace in search of more goals, less fun situations follow on the field with Almere players constantly lying down and balls that were
shot away while no other balls entered the field. These are resistances that we could have avoided by finishing our chances in the early stages.
In the closing stages of the match, PSV is the team that keeps attacking and Almere is only concerned with defending.

    Final score 1-1 (disappointing)

Currently PSV B1 is in a partial 1st place with AZ B1.
The next match is at home against Heerenveen B1 on Tuesday 02 April at 18.00 hours
