Last Saturday, PSV O.17 played the home match against Heerenveen O.17.
PSV started the match aggressively and immediately put the opponent under pressure.
This resulted in an early lead for PSV. In the 2nd min Mathias Bonde was able to shoot the 1-0 in front of the goalie on a Joey Konings pass.
After 25 minutes of play, PSV had to continue with 10 players. To everyone's surprise, the referee gave Mathias Bonde a red card.
Heerenveen had most of the ball possession in the remaining time until halftime, but failed to create any chances.
PSV even manages to double the lead. After a quick counterattack, Matthias Verreth is able to take the ball towards the Heerenveen goal. He is not selfish but passes the ball perfectly to Joey Konings, who shoots the ball straight in.

In the 2nd half, PSV is the better team. Due to the strong play of PSV, it is not noticeable that PSV is playing with one player less.
In the 55th min Joey Konings scores his 2nd of the match 3-0.
PSV forgets to go further in this phase. The best chances were squandered.
Fifteen minutes before the end of the match, Heerenveen was allowed to take an indirect free kick in the goal area. Via a PSV player's leg the ball went into the goal.
In the remaining time the victory was not in danger anymore.
