  1. Match report

In the difficult away match against RKC C2, PSV C2 secured a well-deserved 0-2 victory. PSV C2 put RKC C2 under pressure right from the start of the match. All personal duels in defense and midfield were won by the PSV players, resulting in a lot of ball possession on the PSV side. After fifteen minutes it was Rai Vloet who headed in the 0-1 from a good corner from the foot of Vinnie Vermeer, via the ground. A minute later it was almost 0-2 through a good header by Jordy de Wijs from a well taken free kick by Vinnie Vermeer. Thanks in part to good goalkeeping by the RKC goalkeeper, no more goals were scored until halftime. In the second half it remained exciting for a long time, partly because PSV C2 failed to score the second goal quickly. RKC kept looking for a counter goal, but the confident PSV defense gave RKC striker and former PSV player Gino Cornet and his mates no chance. On the other side of the pitch, the many fierce but sporting duels between Endy Opoku Bernadina and the ironclad Newien Ramlal were a feast for the eyes.
Five minutes before the end of the match it was Jordy de Wijs who shot a deflected free kick from 18 meters diagonally into the crossbar with his left, securing the 0-2 victory and second place on the league table for PSV C2.
