  1. Match report

PSV D1 washed away the bad taste after last week's defeat against Willem II D1 with a resounding 9-0 victory over RBC D1, which had impressed in recent weeks with good results against Willem II and against RKC.
From the start of the match, PSV played with passion and RBC was put with their backs against the wall. One attack after the other was heading for the RBC goal and before the guests from Roosendaal knew it, it was 6-0 for our boys at halftime. One goal was even more beautiful than the other. Especially a volley fired from the sixteen meters by Jordy de Wijs and a free kick by Rai Vloet into the crossbar were gems of goals.
After halftime, PSV continued on the same footing. RBC gasped, but were given no time to recover. The PSV defense, led by the rock solid Joep van Vroenhoven, did not give away a chance to RBC in the entire match. The score was further increased to 9-0, including a magnificent header by Endy Opoku Bernadina from a superb cross by 'Captain' Gino Girigori.
After 9-0 PSV had plenty of chances to extend the score, but RBC was spared this afternoon.
PSV's goal scorers were Michael Maria (2x), Rai Vloet (2x), Jeroen Meefout (1x), Jorrit Hendrix (1x), Gino Girigori (1x), Endy Opoku Bernadina (1x) and Jordy de Wijs (1x). PSV D1 is second with three points behind MVV D1.
Next up is the away game in Waalwijk against trainer Rick's RKC. Good luck guys!
