    After a misunderstanding about the starting time, we kicked off at 10:15. PSV started the game well and took the lead immediately after the kick-off. Jesper broke through on the right and gave the ball to Sven who was free to shoot in from close range 1-0. After a quarter of an hour PSV got away well after Fortuna hit the outside of the post. A minute later the goal was scored. From a corner kick the ball was well headed in 1-1. Shortly before the end of the first half, PSV took the lead again. On a fantastic split pass from Jesper, Thijn was able to shoot freely after a corner move 2-1.

    Not much happened in the second half. Fierce duels were fought back and forth. Shortly before the end of the second half Fortuna came alongside again. PSV lost the ball after a play-in error. This stupid action made it 2-2.

    In the third part, PSV played excellent. PSV hit the crossbar twice and a 100% chance was blocked by Fortuna. Based on an old football law, you get a goal when you don't exploit the chances yourself. And so Fortuna took the lead. From a corner kick our goalkeeper did not get a grip on the ball. From close range the shot went in, 2-3. Fortuna's joy did not last long because a minute later PSV equalized again. After Thijn again hit the bar, Jesper was in the right place to cash in on the rebound.
    3-3. The match seemed to end in a draw. Yet PSV drew the longest straw. Shortly before the signal Thijn shot hard at the Fortuna goal. The goalkeeper was still there but could not prevent Niek from shooting the rebound into the goal 4-3.

    This victory was hard fought and a nice boost for PSV E1. You have shown resilience and despite the hard duels you just kept playing football. Well done and compliments for your efforts.
