Today the away match against FC Twente B1 was on the schedule. Just like last week, mental resilience was put to the test. In the opening phase PSV had difficulty with the position changes of the opponents' attackers. After 2 minutes FC Twente took advantage of this and took a 1-0 lead. PSV recovered well. After a corner, hands were made in the goal area. The referee gave a penalty and it was faultlessly shot in by Philippe Rommens.

PSV was on top and this resulted in a 1-2 lead in the 22nd minute. Martijn Berden came through on the right and his cross was shot in by Matthias Verreth. This was also the halftime score.

PSV started the 2nd half strongly and created several opportunities. In the 57th minute PSV took a deserved 1-3 lead. Dani van der Moot scored on a pass from Dante Rigo. PSV failed to increase the lead. In the 62nd minute, FC Twente scored the tying goal. From a rebound after a free kick it became 2-3.

FC Twente started to take more risks. This gave PSV more space but the chances were not exploited. It remained unnecessarily exciting and after a scrimmage the ball was cleared from the goal line. In the end a deserved victory.

Next week PSV B1 plays a home match against Roda/JC B1.
