Early in the match, it quickly became clear that PSV was a size too big for Venray. Venray was limited to defending and PSV dictated the match. The first feat was a shot against the crossbar in the seventh minute. Four minutes later the opening goal was scored. A combination through the center of the Venray defense came at the feet of Djurre. With a curve ball over the goalkeeper he signed for the 1-0. PSV was clearly stronger but it took until the 25th minute before the score was doubled. A deep ball from Niek put Genrich alone in front of the goalie. He tapped in the 2-0. Just before halftime the score was further extended. A cross from Jeremy was put back by Genrich. Jur simply tapped in, 3-0.

In the second half the game was no different than in the first half. This resulted in the next goal for PSV in the 37th minute. Again a combination through the center was completed by Dylan, 4-0. One minute later the ball came into the feet of D'Leanu. He shot the 5-0. After sloppy defending, Venray had the opportunity to score. Jeremy prevented a counter goal. In the 52nd minute, Joost signed the 6-0 with a distance shot. One minute later it was again Joost who scored after a corner from Joep, 7-0. A few minutes later it was Jur who made it 8-0 after good passing from Genrich. In the penultimate minute a corner from Joep came at the feet of Jeremy. With a curve ball he put the final score at 9-0.
