  1. Match report

A top affair tonight at the Herdgang. PSV against number 2 AJAX. The top youth teams in the Netherlands are playing their league match tonight with the goal of reaching the first place in the rankings. This match shows that for both teams the championship is not the ultimate goal. First place is nice but the main goal is the development of the players and the team.
The match is played at a high tempo and especially in the first half, AJAX is the slightly better team of the two. PSV gets no chance to really make things difficult for the Amsterdammers' goalkeeper. The half-time score is 0 - 0.
The many spectators can now warm themselves with hot coffee and chocolate.
After the break, PSV picked up the thread and put AJAX under pressure. Now there are also chances. Ryan is close to scoring twice (once on the post) and Olivier also has the 1 - 0 on his shoe but unfortunately he shoots just wide in a very promising position. That Ajax also wants to help us is clear from a back pass that their goalkeeper manages to turn into a corner just before the line.
It has to be said that Ajax also had a chance to take the lead but the referee did not give the ball the spot despite the Amsterdam protests. Unfortunately, the AJAX player had an unfortunate fall and later on in the hospital he broke his wrist. We wish him a speedy recovery.
The score is not changed anymore and so the initial score is also the final score. 0 - 0. The public has enjoyed an exciting and high-level game played on a unfortunately dramatically bad field.
Unfortunately, two top games in four days left us with only one point. There was more in it but the priority is training as mentioned.
So we will continue on the same path. Next Saturday the cup game (which we have to defend after winning it last season) against FC Utrecht is on the program before leaving for Italy at the weekend for a big tournament with good opponents to raise our level again. Alright guys good luck Saturday and in Italy.
    Bye.
