UNA played very compact especially at the start of the match. UNA put a lot of pressure forward in the early stages but PSV managed to solve that football wise. In the 5th minute it was Yorbe who played himself free but he was tapped at the edge of the penalty area at the last moment. The free kick was shot just over. After 10 minutes in the first half UNA got a little better in the match. This gave UNA some opportunities but they did not really become dangerous. In the 19th minute it was again Yorbe who was brought down just outside the penalty area. The free kick was taken quickly and short. From 20 meters Stijn shot the ball via the underside of the crossbar into the goal, 0-1. PSV kept the advantage and in the last three minutes of the first half PSV had two more chances. The first chance was not taken because the ball was weakly shot in. The second chance was cleared off the goal line by an UNA player. PSV went into the break with a 0-1 lead.

PSV started the second half energetically. In the 33rd minute, a shot hit the UNA goalkeeper. In the 39th minute the score was doubled. Good drive by Yorbe earned him the ball. Through a quick combination with Thijs, Yorbe brought the ball in front of the goal. Mathijs did not miss this opportunity and shot the 0-2. This was PSV's hundredth goal in this competition. A great achievement in itself. UNA continued to try to put PSV under pressure. This produced a decent chance for UNA in the 46th minute. A distance shot was turned away by Victor. The rebound was shot over by an UNA player. A few minutes later, however, it was again PSV who scored. Quinn pushed forward well on the right side of the pitch and played the ball to Mathijs. Mathijs scored from the edge of the penalty area with a brilliant arc into the far corner, 0-3. With that, the game was played. In the last 10 minutes, PSV scored twice more from a corner. In the 52nd minute a corner by Dani was turned away by the UNA goalkeeper. The ball came to the feet of Beslan who scored the 0-4 from close range. Three minutes later a corner by Dani again was headed in at the far post by Abou, 0-5.

PSV recorded another deserved and solid victory. Next week the last league game against Geldrop/Houta Bouw.
