On Friday, PSV B1 played the home match against Excelsior B1.
In the beginning of the match, PSV played at too low a tempo to create chances.
The guests from Rotterdam retreated to their own half and tried to become dangerous via quick counter attacks.
Still, PSV took a 1-0 lead. Dani van der Moot scored on a pass from Steven Bergwijn.
After this, the pace increased and PSV created several chances.
In the 30th min Martijn Berden scored with a nice long distance shot 2-0.
3 minutes later the goalkeeper could not hold Sam Lammers' shot and Dani van der Moot was able to shoot in the rebound.
Another 3 minutes later Steven Bergwijn scored the 4-0 on a pass from Dani van der Moot.
4-0 was the halftime score.

In the 2nd half Excelsior wanted to limit the damage and only sporadically came off their own half. PSV was unable to destroy their opponent.
In the second half no more goals were scored and it remained 4-0.
