Draw for PSV O17 at Feyenoord

An overcast and cold Saturday afternoon gave Feyenoord O17 and PSV O17 both a point, where more was certainly possible for the Eindhoven side before half-time. At times the formation of coach Kevin Moeliker combined smoothly, but failed to pull the trigger. Goalkeeper Aron van Lare also had to make two saves.

In the second half, Feyenoord got into the game better. They took the lead after 49 minutes after an unfortunate moment between Feyenoord attacker and goalkeeper Aron van Lare. It wasn't until minute 67 that PSV came alongside, either with some help from Feyenoord. A corner kick from Mohamed Nassoh was worked into its own goal by a defender of the Rotterdammers. Shortly after, it was the boys from Eindhoven who took the lead. A short-taken corner kick between Mylian Jiminez and Iggy Houben was crossed by the former. D'Leanu Arts was in the right place, making it 1-2 on the inoperative scoreboard. Yet it was Feyenoord that equalized again. A free kick that was turned in fell at the feet of a Rotterdam defender, who had no trouble getting close: 2-2. In the remainder of the game both teams had some small opportunities, but they were not really dangerous anymore.

A draw that PSV, especially with the play in the first half, can move forward with. Next week the boys have another chance to show themselves. Then PEC Zwolle awaits at their own Herdgang, starting at 12.30 pm.
