PSV B1 played an away match against Vitesse B1 on Saturday.
The 1st chance of the match was for Vitesse. The PSV defense had its hands full with the attackers of Vitesse. In the 11th min PSV went down 1-0. After this goal, PSV took control. Through good combination play several chances were created but no goals were scored in the 1st half.
Half-time score 1-0.

Directly after halftime PSV equalized. Matthias Verreth took a cross from Steven Bergwijn straight out of the air and the ball disappeared into the goal. PSV had the better of the game in the 2nd half but Vitesse appeared dangerous in front of the PSV goal several times.

For a long time the match seemed to end undecided until PSV was allowed to take a penalty in the last minute of official playing time. It was scored by Philippe Rommens. Vitesse went looking for the equalizer in injury time, but from a quick counter attack PSV scored 1-3. Marco Weymans tapped the ball in after a cross from Martijn Berden.
Final score 1-3

Next week there is no program for PSV B1. Saturday, February 8, PSV B1 plays a home match against ADO Den Haag B1.
