Today the away match against UNA was scheduled. Under ideal conditions, kick-off took place at 10:15 am. The visitors got off to a flying start. One fine attack after another rolled over the artificial turf. Not surprisingly, PSV took an early lead. The goalkeeper could not control a vicious shot by Tijn and the alert Gregory was in the right place to shoot the rebound into the ropes (0-1). Less than a minute later, the score was almost doubled. With a tailored kick, Pepijn again reached Gregory. This time his effort went just wide of the goal. After six minutes UNA came out of their shell, which almost resulted in the equalizer. The UNA striker shot the post with a quick foot movement. PSV's reaction was not long in coming. A swift attack on the right, via Joey and Koen, came at the feet of Joop. His attempted goal also went, for the visitors, on the wrong side of the post. At the other end, Pepijn managed to narrow his goal well, preventing the UNA attacker from getting the ball into the goal as well. Five minutes before halftime Niels and Koen set up an attack on the left. Once again Joop was the finishing touch. Unfortunately, this time the goalkeeper managed to save. But again Gregory picked up the ball. He then shook off three opponents and slid the ball calmly past the goalkeeper (0-2). Even before halftime, the visitors seemed to decide the match. A quickly executed one-two between Tijn and Koen did not yield a goal. As well as Joey's effort, after good pressure from Sem, was cleared off the goal line. The visitors were also on top after halftime. A devastating shot from Niels went out of the UNA goal via Sem's crown. Sem (after a corner by Joey) and Gregory (after preparatory work by Tijn and Joey) also failed to score. The 0-3 came in the 31st minute. Once again Joey took off down the right side. On the back line he put the ball back to Koen who extended the ball to Sem. At the far post he shot the ball into the net (0-3). Former UNA player Koen also looked to score in the 33rd minute, but again the goalkeeper managed to get his hand behind the ball. Two minutes later he too was without a chance. With another perfect follow-up Pepijn put Joop and Sem free in front of the goalkeeper. Just at the right moment Joop played Sem who scored his second and PSV's fourth (0-4). Ten minutes before time, Joey also tried from distance. His attempt splattered on the crossbar. In the same minute UNA managed to score the last goal of the game. A distant kick from the goalkeeper led to the striker, who put the ball into the goal in two shots (1-4). In the same minute the margin was brought back to four. On the left side of the pitch Gregory received the ball from Koen. From an impossible angle he turned the ball into the far cross (1-5). The final score was finally set at 1-6. A tailored cross from Joey to Sem completed the half dozen. With beautiful combination play and fantastic attacks the crowd was treated to a wonderful game this morning.
