    The report

PSV O15 had its 18th league game on the schedule this weekend. It gained 31 points in the previous 17 games with a goal difference of 28 for and 16 against, putting it in fifth place. FC Utrecht now played its 20th game, gained 25 points so far and scored as many times as they conceded goals, 35 times. That put the hosts in seventh place beforehand.

The first chance was for the home team. Within a minute, one of the strikers had a great chance, but he shot over. PSV was warned. But had a very difficult time in the early stages. It fell behind in the sixth minute when goalkeeper Aron van Lare had to let go of a hard cross after which the striker could easily score the 1-0 from close range. As the first half progressed, PSV got better in the match. However, there were no real chances. The game was too sloppy. Maybe it should have had a penalty when Ruben van Bommel shot at goal after a good cross from Jasper Huijzer and a Utrecht player made hands. Just before halftime, PSV came alongside. A corner from Mylian Jimenez was brilliantly headed in by Jesse Giebels. With the 1-1 score both teams went to rest.

After halftime, PSV quickly took the lead. Ruben van Bommel went well through on the left and passed the ball hard to Milan van de Riet at the far post. It was a piece of cake for Mylian Jimenez to shoot the ball in from close range. After that no exciting things happened in the goal area for a long time. Jesse Giebels threw himself in front of a shot once, and Mohamed Nassoh saw a shot blocked at the last minute. In the 53rd minute, PSV threw the game into the lock. A corner by Mohamed went towards Mylian who then did something genius. He took the ball half high with a volley suddenly on his slipper and saw the ball drop into the far corner. What a fabulous goal!!! After this goal, Aron had to act twice more on distance shots, and both teams could get another penalty. In both situations the referee saw no foul, so the game ended in a handsome 1-3 victory.
