Today's story is very simple. After the 6-0 home defeat in the league, FC Den Bosch was looking for revenge. PSV did not play badly, but was too frivolous and easy-going in the decisive moments. Underestimation of the opponent, perhaps? PSV had plenty of chances, missed these chances miserably and made "only" 2 mistakes themselves. And one mistake of that eventually became fatal to PSV. If you then add it all up, you just end up with a defeat. Too bad. PSV is "eliminated" in favor of FC Den Bosch and can now focus entirely on the competition in which more and more opponents, just like FC Den Bosch, withdraw en masse and compactly behind a defensive wall, patiently waiting for a razor-sharp counter opportunity or an error on PSV's side.
