Last Saturday, PSV O.17 played the away match against AZ O.17 in Alkmaar.
PSV started the match weakly and was trounced on all fronts.
PSV got behind 0-1 in the 11th minute. After a cross from the right side, the ball was not well cleared and the AZ striker was able to shoot the ball into the goal.
AZ forgot to press in this phase and PSV was lucky to stay only 1-0.
PSV tried to get back into the game. In the last minutes before the halftime signal, PSV had a good opportunity to equalize but it was missed.
Half-time score 1-0.
In the second half, the game was evenly matched. PSV was more aggressive and played with more enthusiasm.
Unfortunately, PSV was unable to equalize and the match ended in a 1-0 defeat.
Final score 1-0.
Next Saturday, PSV O.17 will play the home game against Heerenveen O.17.
