We had to get up early today to leave for Kerkrade. There Roda JC 012 was waiting for us for the 2nd league match.

We started the game very strongly which soon led to some chances. Heritier cut through the defense but pounced on the out coming Limburg goalkeeper. PSV took a short corner and Mohamed Nassoh took advantage of the opportunity and put the ball into the near corner from 16 meters. Five minutes had been played and we were leading 0-1! PSV 011 combined well in the first half and had the initiative in the match. Roda came little near Robin. Ten minutes before half time the black and white did enter our sixteen which resulted in a corner. This was headed in by Roda but Robin saved skilfully. Unfortunately the rebound was tapped in from close range and the score was 1-1. With that score we went into the break.
After half time we started again. Mohamed-Amine Ihatarren again seemed to put Heritier in front of the goalie with a nice through ball. It seemed that this pass was a little too sharp and the goalkeeper would catch it. But our Belgian left-winger accelerated and got into a duel with the goalkeeper. He won the duel and managed to slide the ball with concentration into an empty goal. 1-2. Through some distance shots we were still dangerous but unfortunately this did not result in anything. After that it became increasingly difficult and Roda pushed on. This resulted in some precarious situations in front of Robin's goal. By fighting for every meter we managed to get the first league victory. A very nice result!

Especially the first half we played very well today, in the second half we showed that we are a team and will go through fire for each other.

Next week we hope to continue this success when we play Helmond Sport 012 at home.
