Heerenveen- After a long, but prosperous, bus ride from Eindhoven, the boys were ready for the second game of the cup. The first game was won by both teams.

Heerenveen started brightly and immediately pinned PSV down in their own half. However, they did this without really becoming dangerous. PSV handled this well and took a 0-2 lead within 12 minutes. In the 6th minute Matthias opened the score with a great striker's goal. Lennerd came through on the right, passed the ball to Matthias who scored the 0-1 at the first post. The goal scorer in the 6th minute was responsible for the cross ball to Jaëll in the 12th minute who fired in the 0-2. In minute 25 Heerenveen got back into the game after not intervening well in the defense. During the first half almost nothing was given away. Because the finishing was not sharp and the final pass was often too hard, PSV went into the break 1-2.

After halftime, PSV went in search of the third goal in a controlled manner. Jaëll came up the right side to the back line. With a tight pass he set Matthias free in front of the goalie, after which the striker coolly rounded off. PSV continued to control the game and gave away one more chance. The goalkeeper handled the ball badly, but he made up for his mistake by 1 on 1 turning the ball into a corner. With 1 minute left on the clock, PSV countered to make it 1-4. Matthias ran into the 16-yard area on the left. His pass to Jaëll was perfectly tailored and Jaëll also made his second of the afternoon.

In short, a fine victory that could have led to a higher score with more sharpness in front of goal. On November 24, PSV will visit Alphense Boys for the final pool match.
