Last week our match against Roda JC was canceled. That meant that today we played our first playoff match against FC Den Bosch. Deveron was not there today, unfortunately he is sick in bed.
In the first half we did not get to play football. The game took place mainly in midfield and there were few chances on either side. So the score at halftime was 0-0.
After halftime we started to play better. We were able to find the opening more often and we got opportunities. Joris turned away from his man but unfortunately shot just wide. FC Den Bosch became dangerous in the counter now and then but they could not score either.
In the third half we wanted to score quickly to win this game. We started dangerously and within a few minutes we came in front of the Den Bosch goal. In the counter we were surprised. In midfield a foul seemed to be made on Nassim. The referee decided otherwise and the ball was played long. The striker of Den Bosch took full advantage of this. 0-1. After that we got better and went looking for the tying goal. Unfortunately this did not come. The final score was 0-1.
We did not start the game well today and it was difficult to play football. Then we picked it up well but were unlucky. Next week we play at 9.30am in Maastricht against MVV.
