Last Saturday, PSV B1 played a home match against FC Twente B1.
In the 1st half FC Twente had the better of the game. The first chance of the match was for FC Twente. The attacker of FC Twente came free in front of the goal of Yanick van Osch but he shot the ball next to the goal.
Nevertheless, PSV B1 took a 1-0 lead. In the 21st min Matthias Verreth worked in a cross from Martijn Berden.
8 minutes later, FC Twente equalized. Yanick van Osch was chanceless on a great distance shot.
Half-time score 1-1.
Immediately after halftime FC Twente got the chance to take a 1-2 lead. After a foul in the 16-metre area FC Twente was awarded a penalty. This penalty was taken.
After this PSV took over. Several chances were created but FC Twente also got some good opportunities. Yanick van Osch makes some good saves and keeps his team in the match.
Ten minutes before time, PSV starts playing with an extra attacker to hunt for the equalizer. Matthias Verreth and Dani van der Moot are close but unfortunately their attempts go just over.
In the 75th min, Philippe Rommens is tapped in the 16-meter area. The referee gives a penalty. Philippe Rommens got behind the ball and shot the equalizer.
In the remaining time no more goals are scored. 2-2 is a fair result.
The next league match is on Saturday, March 8. PSV B1 will then play an away match against Ajax.
