Today we played an important match for the league against FC Den Bosch. Joris and Kevin participated with the E-youth.
In the first half the game went up and down. FC Den Bosch got dangerous in front of our goal a few times but they could not score. We did. Mylian gave a long pass to Dylan. He was faster than his opponent and scored the 1-0. This was also the score at halftime.
After halftime we quickly scored the 2-0. Dylan passed well on the goalkeeper and Jesse was able to shoot the ball into an empty goal. Then came Den Bosch. Within four minutes it was 2-2 again. We had no answer to a few good attacks. We were not sharp in the duels and we were sloppy in ball possession. With a 2-2 halftime score we got away well.
In the third half things had to change. This went well for a long time. The game went up and down. Five minutes before time we got the chance for 3-2. Joey took the ball from a central defender and ran free to the goal. Unfortunately he did not get the ball in. A few minutes later Den Bosch did. 58th minute, 3-2. In the absolute injury time it became 4-2.
Today we unfortunately lost an important match. We did not get into our positional play and we could not get a grip on the opponent. We will have to do better next week because we will play VVV at home.
