Today the catch-up game was scheduled against RKVVO. The coach made it clear beforehand that we were playing for the lead today and that we had to play our positional play well. Immediately after the kick-off RKVVO was put under pressure. Mats played in Dylan who put the ball in the corner with a bounce shot 1 - 0. After this goal, PSV continued and the game was mainly played on the opponent's half. Nevertheless, the opponent continued to counter dangerously. After more than fifteen minutes it was almost equalized. Kevin managed to work the ball against the post with his fingertips and then he was able to catch the ball on the goal line. PSV got away well here. After 23 minutes Dylan was able to put Joris free in front of the goalie with a fantastic pass. Joris did not hesitate for a moment and shot the 2 - 0 from this great opportunity. Great goal.

Half-time score 2-0.

After half time PSV did not start sharp enough. After a PSV attack was turned away, RKVVO immediately countered. This counter was excellently finished after the attacker came face to face with our goalie 2 - 1. With this score RKVVO kept the prospect of a good result and we made it unnecessarily difficult for ourselves. Nevertheless, PSV continued to play at a high tempo and the positional play was well executed. PSV had two more good opportunities after halftime to extend the score. Unfortunately the post and goalkeeper stood in the way. The opponent also had a good opportunity but luckily hit the side netting.

We are very satisfied with the way the game went and the way we played. A deserved victory for PSV and compliments to everyone. Next Saturday the topper at OJC Rosmalen awaits.
