Probably the last summer day of 2012 and then to De Graafschap. Everything is there for a wonderful match, lots of spectators. A summer evening match. It will be. De Graafschap can't do much better and PSV doesn't do any better.
The Chinese have the year of the dragon, we play a dragon of a match.
A match to quickly forget. De Graafschap has some big "men" standing at the back and psv is going to try to surprise these guys with quick attacks. It still takes half an hour before the first really big chance. It is for us but the goal is not found. Then in the 36th minute a quick break on the right via Moussa and Farshad and the cross reaches Albian who shoots in the 0 - 1. We continue and six minutes later another quick action and now it is Clint who scores. In the meantime, De Graafschap also has some opportunities to change the score but they don't succeed (yet). After the break we want to finish it off and finish the game calmly, especially with next Wednesday's game in Lisbon in mind, but we don't really succeed. The best chances were wasted. After an hour of play a great kick from behind by Clint is taken by Rai and converted into a goal in two instances. De Graafschap also managed to find the net so that, although we did not give away many chances, we did get another goal against. In the very last minute, Michael Maria went on an adventure and scored the 1 - 4 final goal. As said, this match is quickly forgotten, but a lot of lessons can be learned.
Up early on Tuesday and then off to Lisbon to tap from a different keg there and at least try to get a point away.
