Today the 3rd league game in Middelbeers against the local Beerse Boys, where the F-youth under the name "Boykes" show their football skills.
Because the Boykes were at the bottom with 2 defeats, the question was not whether they would win, but by how much.
The field was to PSV's disadvantage because the cut grass was not taken off, making it very slow.

It took until the 2nd minute before Sem managed to open the scoring with a distance shot, an average which was neatly held. Shortly later Sem scored again, this time after a nice preparation by Tijn (a drag out of the book by trainer Jefta!) When the same Tijn shot the 3-0 within the 10 minutes Bastiaan already decided to intervene. The goalkeeper (Merijn) was allowed to play in the midfield and both goal scorers acted as a lock on the door.
This tactic immediately paid off as Merijn gave an assist to Sem, who was able to make it 4-0. he half-time score was 6-0 after goals by Joey (first the post, then the crossbar and then the net) and Gregory.

In the second half, the midfield position was for Kyan, who showed to be an excellent football player. Without the opponent coming even close to the PSV goal, the pace was increased. Gregory managed to score twice in identical fashion, after passing well on the goalkeeper who saw the ball blocked both times.

Because it remained very busy around the goal Bastiaan suggested to try more often from distance. This did not go unheard and after Arne's shot Davy managed to score number 10 from distance. he last 10 minutes were full of fun. Merijn came back into the field as an extra field player, so both our goalkeepers went hunting for a goal. But where the goalkeepers kept coming up short, our powerful strikers showed us how it should be done. Joop scored 5 goals in a short period of time, of which his 2nd was an assist from Kyan. Brent and Davy both found the net twice more.

Then what everyone had hoped for happened. Merijn was put free in front of the goal by Sem and controlled the 20-0. The whole team, leaders and supporters went wild.
Moments later the final signal sounded and the victory was celebrated as if the Champions League had just been won. This to underline the enormous team spirit.
For the penalty kicks, Gregory was allowed to goal, and after one beautiful save, the party was over.
Characteristic of this victory was the statement by one of the Boykes to his mother: "We played against PSV. Well, they were really good!"

Next week a very tough tournament in Leverkusen probably awaits where everything will have to be concentrated again. But at least we enjoyed today!
