PSV received AZ today at the Herdgang. PSV started the match very well and played good football for the first 30 min. Good football, 2 fantastic goals and AZ having no room to play was the result. Unfortunately the visitors scored the tying goal just before half time which gave them faith in a good result again. So it was up to us to start the second half well and look for the third goal. PSV created a lot of opportunities and it was frustrating that we did not have the sharpness to capitalize on them. The goals still fell, but on the other side. 2 outbursts from the Almaarders were well rounded twice, so we ended up losing the match.
Conclusion of this match is that we shortchanged ourselves by not converting our good play into goals.A much better PSV losing points in the race to the championship.
Next Tuesday the away game against ADO is scheduled.
