Saturday the always exciting prestige match against Ajax 016 was scheduled at De Toekomst. Conditions were fine despite the strong wind.

Right from the first whistle they played with a lot of pressure, which was expressed after a few minutes by a good chance of Steven, the hard shot was kept out by the goalkeeper. After some small chances on both sides, Marco almost headed the ball in after a corner.
After half an hour a nice shot by Steven after a good assist by Sam. 0-1.
On the stroke of halftime, a good cross from Marco, which put Philippe in a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper, was coolly finished off. 0-2

After halftime Ajax came out of the locker room strong. PSV came under more pressure, an Ajax shot from distance went narrowly wide.
Marco Weijmans had to stop a player on the edge of the 16, for which he received a yellow card. The free kick did not go in.
Shortly after, Ajax had another chance with a hard shot that deflected off the crossbar.
Sam Lammers then went close and shot the ball hard into the near corner from outside the 16. 0-3
After this we could breathe a sigh of relief, and even more so at the final whistle.

This week a busy program, with Tuesday's on paper home game against Ado Den Haag. And Sunday another game against Ajax 016 but this time it will be played at the Herdgang, this is also the last league game of the season. We will see if we walk off the field with the same great result.
