    Another three-pointer for O16

PSV continued its run of victories with a three-pointer away against Roda JC. In an unspectacular match, the team relied on its scoring ability, which again accounted for five goals on Saturday. Leaders Ajax thus still have only a one-point lead.

All the attackers had a streak added to their names on Saturday. In the 26th minute, Jeremy opened the scoring with a beautifully placed distance shot that fell in beyond the reach of the Roda goalkeeper, 0-1. Just six minutes later, Jayden tapped the ball in easily at the far post after a good preparatory action by Milan on the right, 0-2. Before it was the third striker's turn to score, PSV had to allow Roda to get closer at a bad moment, two minutes before halftime. A long-range shot gave Peter the lead, 1-2.

However, PSV managed to increase the margin by two goals again early in the second half. In the 5th minute Milan was put in position by Kees on the right side of the penalty area, after which he took the ball full on the instep and shot hard diagonally in, 1-3. Just as beautiful was the 1-4 of Amin, who a few minutes later was sent off by Eljero with a nice pass to the goalkeeper and finished in a controlled manner. After Milan's 1-5 was disallowed for offside and Roda scored again a minute before time with a nice long-distance shot into the crossbar, defender Nigel made it 2-5 in injury time with a volley from a corner.

In the second half one of Roda's players dropped out with a serious injury, most likely a broken collarbone. PSV players and staff would like to wish the player a speedy recovery.
