Today the league match against the scoreless Fortuna. The game was moved from saturday to wednesday night due to our premier league tournament in coventry the next 4 days.

Psv started brightly and in the 10th minute Leandro made the deserved 1-0. He rounded the goalkeeper and finished calmly. Two minutes later the score almost becomes equal when Fortuna can become dangerous due to unnecessary ball loss. In a 1 on 1 Arne proves to be the strongest. The game is a bit messy, we don't let the ball do the work and make many wrong choices. Fortuna can do little in return. Yet after 23 minutes psv scores 2-0. Again Leandro slides the ball into the far corner after good preparatory work by Baggio. Then a good phase in which psv managed to create danger by hitting the ball once or twice. James did not manage to score with his head from 2 meters distance, so the team went to tea with 2-0.

In the break, trainers Edwin and Joonas clearly stated that we must build up the defence better, stay out of the duels and act faster. If we also organize the rest of the defense better, we should be able to get these three points and extend the score.
Youri replaces Arne in goal and Amar replaces Yasin in the second half.

Psv gets off to a good start and immediately creates two good chances after a through ball and a distance shot by Robin. 5 minutes after half time it was Cody who scored his goal and lobbed the 3-0 after a good turn away. The ball on the point of sixteen was again from Robin. Three minutes later Leandro scored his third goal of the evening after a gaffe by the Fortuna goalie who let go of the ball while he was lying on the ground. 4-0. In the 50th minute Gaetan is replaced by Davy Vd Berg, who like goalkeeper Youri Roulaux made his debut in the C1 this evening. Fortuna cannot get under the pressure anymore and in the 55th minute a double change on the psv side. Tijn and Remco replace Robin and Leandro. Five minutes before time Cody makes his second of the evening from a corner. He headed in the 5-0 and this was immediately the final score.

A good victory but the flaws in the game still have to be ironed out. Against stronger opponents they will be punished. For example at the Premier league tournament we will play now, with opponents like Chelsea and Real Madrid.
