  1. Match report

The home game was still lost 2-16 by PSV. So we knew that today
was going to be very tough today. From today's scoring, we can see that PSV was able to play well against the mighty NEC until the 38th minute. After that, PSV broke down and had to allow NEC to extend their lead.

As expected, NEC started the game strongest and PSV was pinned in their own half. PSV also got some chances to score in the first period. These opportunities were not taken advantage of because we did not dare to shoot at goal with the wrong leg.

Also in the second part, NEC was the superior side but PSV managed to hold out well and with some breakouts PSV even became dangerous. In the 25th minute, PSV got a free kick that Niek shot hard at goal. By deliberately touching the ball lightly, Livano left the goalkeeper defenseless and it became 4-1. As mentioned, NEC determined the further course of the match after 38 minutes.

In the third, PSV managed to score once more. After more than 45 minutes, PSV was able to break through on the right. From a cross by Chahid, Jesper was able to shoot the ball into the net 10-2. And those 14 goals by NEC were good too.

PSV had a tough time today, but showed for almost three quarters of the match that they can play well under pressure. Both teams deserve the compliments. Congratulations go to the winner and that is NEC.
