On Saturday, PSV B1 resumed the league with an away match against FC Utrecht B1.
The beginning of the match was both teams scanning.
PSV took a 0-1 lead in the 12th min. Matthias Verreth dribbled in from the left side and shot the ball from 20 m into the left corner.
In the 26th min, FC Utrecht equalized after poor defending on the PSV side.
A few minutes before halftime, PSV had an opportunity to take the lead. An indirect free kick in the 16m-area was shot on the crossbar by Dani van der Moot.
Half-time score was 1-1.
PSV started the 2nd half strongly. After a nice attack in the 45th min, Kenneth Paal scored on a pass from Matthias Verreth.
PSV created several good chances but failed to convert the difference in strength into goals. This kept things exciting but the victory was never in danger.
A deserved 1-2 victory.

Next week PSV B1 plays an away game against Vitesse B1.
