Another topper today at the Herdgang. Fc Twente is the opponent to be fought today. They are also high up the league table and a direct competitor. The coach told the group the battle plan and now we have to execute it. We started well but after 9 minutes (the first time they got in front of the goal) Twente got a chance and the 0 - 1 is on the board. But we must not grieve and continue. Two minutes later at the free kick Mohamed is ready to take the ball into the sixteen and there it is Albian who kicks in the 1 - 1. In the first half we got several more chances but the score remained 1 - 1 until halftime. Too bad but it could have been 4 or 5 - 2.
After the break we continue but we still cannot find the net. Ten minutes into the second half Burak did not make the best decision of his career and the ball went to the penalty spot. No. 9 knows what to do with it and 1 - 2.
Now we have to throw everything on the attack to keep the points in Eindhoven.
After 77 minutes Rai knows to finish a cross and put the 2 - 2 on the board. But we want more. Ten minutes before time it is Mo Rayhi who starts a solo and arrives in the sixteen and releases a seething shot and puts the "deserved "3 - 2 on the board and thus keeps the three points in eindhoven. (And for himself the 3 ptn in the nike standings). Mo was involved in all three goals today.
Another win and the lead in the standings is now in our hands. Next week Feijenoord comes to the Herdgang so again a real topper.
Just like a coach sometimes has to jump on the passing train, we have to make sure we don't fall off our moving train now and take the points next week as well.
