  1. Match report

On this sunny Saturday morning, the E1 was scheduled to play against RPC E1. Like every week, RPC had a few guys who were a head taller, but this is good for physical resilience. From the kickoff, PSV had the first chance, as Roland punted just wide. Immediately RPC countered with the ball hitting the post. When RPC mounted another attack in the 9th minute that went just wide, the earlier predictions on the side were slowly adjusted. It was a wait until the 12th minute, when Yassin fired in the 1-0 after a deflected attack. From then on, PSV started playing better football and there were several fine individual actions in which unfortunately the free man could not be reached. It took until the 18th minute before Arne scored the 2-0 after a nice action by Yassin. RPC remained dangerous in this period with corner kicks and after a scrimmage in front of goal Kyan had to put his fist against it to prevent a goal. The last 5 minutes of the first half PSV pulled the game definitively to themselves. After a nice action Roland made it 3-0. Then Arne subtly made it 4-0 after good interplay between Joey and Yassin. Just before halftime the best goal of the day was scored when Joey (according to insiders it was 25.34 meters) drove the ball into the long corner from distance.
After halftime, PSV started strongly and after a good move by Arne, Sem was put free in front of the goalkeeper. However, the RPC goalkeeper saved beautifully. After this there was a magnificent attack via Arne and Yassin which deserved a better fate. In the 30th minute Kyan had to stretch on a RPC effort. Moments later RPC hit the bar to make it 5-1. In the 40th minute a free kick on the left side. Those who had seen Thursday's training knew that this was almost equivalent to a penalty kick. Davy was already behind the ball and curled the ball past the wall into the goal 6-1. In the 45th minute another nice attack followed through Joey who saw Davy free. However, his volley went just wide. Moments later it was Rico's turn to sneak in between two opponents and shoot the ball in from 15 meters 7-1. The final touch was for Roland, who after a good opening on the right was played in by Yassin and shot the ball tightly inside. After a difficult opening phase a big win. Congratulations boys and on to the next match.
