The goal of this match was clear. Win
A loss or a draw would mean that WillemII with all their fanatical supporters could join us in the canteen.
That was not to happen.
The first 15 minutes PSV played very well. We soon got a 1-0 lead from Junior with the head.
Soon after, Sven scored with a nice shot from the edge of the penalty area to make it 2-0 .
It looked like PSV was going to win the game but Willem II kept up a lot of pressure.
They were able to score from a corner that was taken short, the organization of PSV was gone and the result was 2-1.
This made it an exciting match with lots of chances on both sides.
But PSV stood their ground and won the match. Because of this it was no party for Willem II in our canteen.
Although we only played well in the first 10 minutes. After that we let it go unfortunately
It was an exciting game .Hopefully we will play a better game at Willem II with of course the same result :win .
We will train hard for that in the coming weeks.
