PSV took the initiative from the beginning of the match. The field superiority was not expressed in goals because the final pass or finishing was not accurate enough. JVOZ tried to get out from under PSV's pressure halfway through the first half. However, some of JVOZ's attacks were intercepted by the PSV defense. PSV stepped up the pressure and this led to a goal in the 29th minute. A nice pass from Mees put Yorbe in a promising position. He rounded the goalkeeper and shot in, 0-1. One minute later the score was doubled. A cross from Dennis, after a demarrage from him through the left side of the field, was headed in by Yorbe. 0-2.

In the second half, PSV played very strong. PSV hardly gave JVOZ a chance to catch their breath. In the 34th minute Thijs shot hard and high, after a nice cross from Mathijs, 0-3. A few minutes later Thijs was brought down inside the sixteen. Damian shot the spot kick impeccably, 0-4. In the 50th minute JVOZ had a great opportunity, after a mistake in the PSV defense, to score a counter goal. However, this opportunity was not taken. In the last five minutes of the match, the score was extended considerably. A cross from Jochem after an action of his on the left was tapped in by Yorbe, 0-5. A nice combination between Thijs and Jochem was shot diagonally by Jochem, 0-6. In the last minute JVOZ could not get the ball out of their own goal mouth after which Thijs tapped in, 0-7.
