The whole match was about PSV D3 scoring their 100th goal, will they make it.
The tension was cut from the 1st minute of the match. PSV started very strong and this strong play was quickly rewarded with a goal by Endy. Moments later Joep scored the 2-0 by shooting a cleanly given 11 meter without fail. Then it became messy. Many players wanted to reach the 100 goal mark too forcefully. The game suffered somewhat. At halftime Jefta Bresser made some tactical changes and urged the players that with good football they would reach 100 goals. And he was right, with goals by Michael and a nice long distance goal by Jordy, Michael finally scored PSV D3's 100th goal of the season 3 minutes before the end. The season could not be ruined anymore. Jubilant with joy the whole team ran towards the coach and staff to celebrate with them. With 100 goals for and only 20 against, PSV D3 goes into the tournament program full of confidence. The first tournament awaits them on Easter Monday in and near the Belgian town of Geel.
