On Saturday, PSV B1 played a cup match against Feyenoord O.16. The stake was a place in the semifinals of the cup tournament.
The first opportunity was for Feyenoord but Yanick van Osch prevented a goal against with a fine save.
In the 25th minute Matthias Verreth was brought down in the 16m area after a good attack.
PSV got a penalty and it was scored by Philippe Rommens.
Until half time PSV created some opportunities.
In the last minute of the first half the score was doubled. After a nice attack Martijn Berden could pass the ball and his cross was cleverly headed in by Joey Konings.
Half-time score 2-0.
In the 2nd half the field play (partly due to the bumpy pitch) was not great.
Still PSV scored twice.
After an assist from Matthias Verreth, Arnaut Groeneveld was able to score the 3-0. And 5 minutes before time it was Matthias Verreth who brought the final score to 4-0.

Next week there is no program for PSV B1. Saturday, March 29, 2014, PSV B1 plays a league match in Kerkrade against Roda JC B1.
