Last Saturday, PSV B1 played a cup match against Alphense Boys B1. PSV B1 was the stronger team from the beginning of the match. Alphense Boys limited itself to defending. PSV B1's field play was too sloppy to create good chances.

Still, PSV took a 1-0 lead. In the 17th min PSV was allowed to take a corner and Gokhan Kardes was able to tap the ball in from close range.
In the 29th min Alphense Boys equalized. A good attack on the left side allowed an Alphense Boys player to shoot the ball into the net in the second attempt. Three minutes before half time PSV took the lead again through a goal by Kenneth Paal. 2-1 was also the score at halftime.

In the 2nd half, PSV was soon able to increase their lead. Through a combination through the center of the defense, it was Sam Lammers who scored the 3-1 on a pass from Kenneth Paal.

PSV created several opportunities in the 2nd half but it took until the 69th min before they scored. After a deep pass from Philippe Rommens, Kenneth Paal shot the 4-1. The same Kenneth Paal gave Arnaut Groeneveld the chance to score 3 minutes before the final whistle. Arnaut rounded the goalkeeper and set the final score at 5-1.

Next week PSV B1 will play a home match against FC Twente B1.
