PSV B1 played the league match against Heerenveen last Saturday. It was the last match before the winter break.
It was a fairly even match.
PSV B1 took the lead in the 23rd min. With a brilliant long distance shot from 25m, Lennerd Daneels made it 1-0.
In the 30th min Heerenveen did something back. A combination through the center of PSV's defense equalized.
Within 2 minutes PSV took the lead again. It was Dirk Abels who headed in a corner from Dante Rigo.
Another 2 minutes later, PSV took a 3-1 lead.
The Heerenveen goalkeeper could not handle a free kick from Dani van der Moot well.
Matthias Verreth was attentive and shot the ball into the goal via a Heerenveen player.
Half-time score: 3-1
In the 2nd half, both sides fought for every ball. Heerenveen wanted to connect and PSV wanted to extend their lead.
But no more goals were scored.
Final score: 3-1
Thus, PSV B1 closed the 1st half of the season with a victory.
