The last match of the year. The management had already indicated in a letter that it was forbidden to bring and set off fireworks on the Herdgang.Yet there were some players of the A1 who saw this differently and set off a seven-clapper anyway. And everyone was proud and happy that they did so.
The game was not even five minutes in when the score was already 2 - 0. Good goals by Niels and Moussa. We got several more chances but they didn't go in. The advantage is great and De Graafschap is too small. Just before half time Ramon successfully completed an attack and we went into the break with a 3-0 lead.
In the break the coach wants us to continue on this path and get a good result. This time this is not said to deaf ears. Again within five minutes we manage to score. Suently, Steven and Niels manage to find the net and the score is 6 - 0. There was a short period that De Graafschap could put some pressure on, but the rearguard again managed to keep the score down and in the very last minute Steven put the finishing touch to the score and the final score of 7 - 0 is a fact.
The autumn title is in. (Whatever t has value) Men thanks for this first half of the season. We have enjoyed your team spirit and certainly at times your good game that you put on the mat every week. On behalf of the staff thanks for these months and we hope we can continue the line after the winter break and who knows where we will end up in May.
Happy holidays to everyone and a happy and healthy 2014. We will see each other at the beginning of January and then we will start the second half of the season with a tournament. So get ready for that because it will be an experience.
