PSV took on an older youth team from Sarto. It was clear beforehand that the physical difference was going to be a decisive factor. Already after three minutes the visitors took the lead after a fast breakaway. PSV recovered and had the best of the game. Nevertheless, the visitors raced to a 0-3 lead again through two quick outbursts. PSV could do something back in the 18th minute through Heritier 1-3. Just before halftime, the visitors extended their lead after a long-distance shot changed direction. Both teams went into the break with a 1-4 score.

In the second half, the visitors applied more pressure and PSV was hardly able to create any chances. The visitors also created few chances. Some distance shots were well parried by Peter. Five minutes before time Niek put the 2-4 on the scoreboard. One minute later a nice shot by Jur hit the crossbar and the post, but the ball was cleared out of the mouth of the goal in time. With a 2-4 final score both teams went back to the dressing rooms.

All in all a useful practice match against a physically much stronger opponent.
