  1. Match report

If this match is cancelled, PSV C2 will play an alternative match: PSV C2 - VVV C2
PSV C2 made an excellent start to the spring competition, winning a resounding 0-5 victory at home against the always tricky FC Den Bosch C2.
PSV C2 started this match eagerly on the well playable field. Due to good positional play on the PSV side, the free man was found all the time. In the tenth minute Sven van de Kerkhof advanced well on the left side and, with some luck, managed to reach Jorrit Hendrix on the edge of the enemy sixteen-meter area. Instead of taking the ball, Jorrit turned free in a sublime way in one go, cutting the ball straight inside. The FC Den Bosch defenders and goalkeeper had clearly not taken this into account and were all on the wrong foot. This allowed Jorrit to finish calmly in front of the goal (0-1). What a great action by the, despite a painful back injury, very strong playing captain of PSV C2!
In the seventeenth minute Aron Schnorrenberg advanced along the right side of the field. He made a one-two with Endy and then played to the well-moving Rai Vloet, who had no trouble scoring the 0-2 from the edge of the penalty area. PSV C2 did not give FC Den Bosch C2 a chance on this beautiful afternoon and the match was played when Endy Opoku Bernadina scored the 0-3 just before halftime after a magnificent action in which he outsmarted three players from Bossen. Shortly before, Jeroen Meurs had defused a free kick from the FC Den Bosch 'giant' with a cat-like reaction at the cost of a corner.
After halftime FC Den Bosch C2 started to play with three strikers, forcing PSV C2 back into their own half for the first ten minutes of the second half. PSV C2 then picked up the thread of the first half and one after the other beautiful attack was heading for the FC Den Bosch C2 goal. After twenty minutes in the second half Jorrit Hendrix played himself free on the right side and from the back line he sent in a tight cross which Endy Opoku Bernadina, à la Madjer (FC Porto-Bayern München; Champions League final 1987; 2-1), tapped in agonizingly slowly from behind his foot (0-4). FC Den Bosch C2 tried to save the honor, but Daan Bollen, who replaced Jeroen Meurs in the second half, prevented a goal thanks to an excellent save.
In the twenty-fifth minute of the second half, after a nice pass from Jordy de Wijs, Rai Vloet, who ran on, only got in front of the FC Den Bosch goalkeeper, who again left him without a chance (0-5).
Next weekend there is no program for PSV C2, so that all injured players get time to recover, after which the home match against FC Groningen C2 will be played on February 28.
