Initially it was an evenly matched game. After 5 minutes the ball fell to a Roda attacker who shot from a difficult angle via the inside post to make it 1-0. A few minutes later an attack by Roda was turned away. Yet the ball was laid back to the Roda striker who was able to make a hard hit 2-0. Less than a minute later PSV did something back. Nassim gave a nice deep pass and Sven found himself between the last man and the Roda goalkeeper. From this action Sven could easily slide the ball into the goal 2-1. This score stood for quite some time and there were good opportunities for both teams to score.

After about half an hour Roda managed to score. From a good combination a good opportunity was shot in 3-1. Shortly before the end of the second block the team lost the ball unnecessarily in midfield after an insertion error. An attacker of Roda went alone to our goalie and shot the ball into the net 4-1.

In the first minutes of the third block there were three chances for PSV to score. Unfortunately, these chances were not taken advantage of. In the last 10 minutes fatigue struck PSV and only Roda was still playing football that would score three more goals. It became 5-1 after a stupid play-in error by PSV. From an away opportunity it became 6-1 and the final score was decided shortly before the final signal from a fine solo 7-1.

PSV showed good football for two blocks today against a physically stronger opponent. In the last block fatigue struck and we could not get out from under the opponent's pressure. We should have scored more from our own chances. All compliments for your efforts.
