Last Saturday, PSV B1 played the away game against Excelsior B1.
PSV B1 started the match strongly. PSV had the best of the game and took a 0-1 lead in the 15th min. Sam Lammers headed a cross from Martijn Berden into the goal.
PSV created several good chances. Dani van der Moot came close twice but hit the post and crossbar.
In the 36th min Steven Bergwijn doubled the score. With a nice long distance shot from 18 meters he made it 0-2.
Everyone thought this would be the score at halftime but the referee gave Excelsior a penalty in the 5th minute of injury time. This penalty was taken.
Half-time score 1-2.
In the 2nd half Excelsior went looking for the equalizer with opportunistic play.
Because PSV forgot to make it 1-3, the game stayed exciting.
In the end Dani van der Moot decided the match. On a pass from Taoufiq Naciri, Dani scored the liberating 1-3 in injury time.
The next league match is the home game against Feijenoord B1.
